N.K.E.S group of institutions celebrated this 76 th Independence Day on 15 th August 2023 with a great sense of patriotism and enthusiasm where all the staff from Jr. College, Degree College and SVIMS was present. On this day, the entire Wadala and surrounding area witnessed a sea of humanity as the 76 students of Jr. College from std. XII along with the staff members converged for the grand ‘Prabhat Pheri’ showcasing 76 posters indicating the significant success of India’s milestone achievements. After Prabhat Pheri, the Flag hoisting ceremony, where the national flag was hoisted amidst the singing of the national anthem. The entire college campus was adorned with tricolour-themed decorations, creating a festive and patriotic atmosphere. Banners, flags, and creative displays adorned the walls, corridors, and common areas, reinforcing the importance of the tricolour as a symbol of national unity.
