TOPIC: - ORGANIC FARMING
WHAT IS ORGANIC FARMING AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT
Organic farming is agriculture that makes healthy food , healthy soil , healthy plants and healthy environment a priority, along with crop productivity.
Moreover, Organic farming entails: Use of cover Crops, green manures, animal manures and crop rotation to fertilize the soil .
NKES HIGH SCHOOL has started various club activities for the students to promote holistic development of the students and also to generate awareness
towards the protection of the mother earth. We have started with organic farming activities involving students from class VIII , IX and X.
The following activities were conducted throughout the month :-
- Speech on the awareness of organic farming
-Poster Making
- Power Point Presentation
- Field trip to nearby garden .
- Sapling plantation
