On 5th September, 2023 (Tuesday), N.K.E.S High School organised Teachers’ Day on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India.
Students of class X were given the opportunity to play the role of teachers for the day . They represented themselves as subject teachers and conducted the classes for VIII – X.
After the Student teachers session, the Teachers’ Day program was scheduled. Along with the teachers, the Principal, Supervisor and the Members of the school’s management committee were also present at the function. The function started with prayer by the school choir and was followed by a dance performance on Guru Vandana. Soon after that the Student HM shared her experience on being the Principal for the day and appreciated the teachers for their hard work and dedication . Students of class X shared information on Prominent Personalities of Maharashtra who had dedicated their life for the betterment of Education. Graceful dance performance by students filled the atmosphere with immense energy and joy. Surprise Citation were presented to teachers for their excellence in teaching proficiency. The programme ended after proposing the vote of thanks followed by National song.
