Colours have the power to affect a mood and draw attention. With an objective to recapitulate & reinforce the effects of various colours , The Primary section of NKES celebrated Colours Day on 13th July with great zeal & enthusiasm. The colour theme was Yellow & Blue.
The CBSE classrooms were decorated with yellow balloons and yellow colour objects. A day dedicated to the Yellow Colour was marked with students dressed in different hues & tints of yellow. Students were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow colour dress but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete Yellow Day. Tiffins were filled with yellow colour eatables like mangoes, corns , maggi etc. Attractive yellow colour toys were kept for display. A garden of paper sunflower was set up in the CBSE classrooms. Students wore lion masks, sunflower masks & crowns. All the teachers described the Yellow objects with flair & ease.
The State board classrooms were decorated with blue balloons and various blue colour objects . The Sky of paper clouds and paper rains was set up on the blackboard. The dress code of the day was Blue. Excitement & Enthusiasm was visible everywhere. All the students came dressed up in different shades & hues of Blue. Students were introduced to different shades of Blue. An array of Blue coloured objects like toy teddy, Doraemon, flowers, butterflies etc were at display. Students wore blue Teddy masks, crown, cloud masks and flower masks . Teachers described the various blue objects. Blue day was an amazing learning experience.
Colours Day Celebration was indeed a visual treat to see the good effects of colours on our Students.
