Drug-free Training session was conducted on 30 th November 2023 at Parel Shirodkar High School& Jr. College under the guidance of Shri. Deepak Kesarkar – Cabinet minister for ministry of Education. Teachers along with the students across Mumbai city were present for this session for the welfare of their students. The main aim of this campaign was to create awareness among the students about various kinds of drugs and their ill effects on their mental and physical health.
Our Jr. College students from the Arts, Science and Commerce stream attended this campaign. And an awareness campaign was held in the classrooms of Jr. College through skits, banners, slogans and charts. Being an important part of the life of the students, teachers also supported this campaign with a positive attitude because the teachers can understand the mindset of the students and can guide and counsel them at the right time when required. Through this awareness campaign Jr. College teachers focused on training the students in regards to awareness, stricter enforcement of drug laws, and knowing various available anti-addiction treatment centres.
