NKES High School celebrated Ganeshotsav with immense enthusiasm for one and a half days, starting on September 6th, 2024. The grand welcome of Lord Ganesha was accompanied by the lively sounds of the NCC band and a vibrant Lazim performance by the girls, who danced to the rhythmic beats of the Dhol, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and devotion.
The installation (Sthapna) of the idol took place on September 7th, with Shri Joshi Sir, Honourable Secretary of the Management Committee, performing the sacred Pranpratishtha ceremony. Prayers and mantras symbolically brought the idol to life. The event was graced by the presence of President Parthasharthi Naik Sir, alongside various committee members and representatives of different groups from the NKE society, making it a community-wide celebration.
On September 8th, the Visarjan (immersion) ceremony was conducted with heartfelt farewells to Lord Ganesha, with everyone pledging to welcome him again next year. The event fostered a sense of unity, devotion, and festivity, continuing the long-standing tradition with reverence and joy.
