Diwali known as the festival of lights was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 26th October 2024 in the primary classrooms. Each primary Section's classrooms and common corridors were adorned with colourful rangoli, diyas, festive banners, torans, rockets, colourful lightings & Handmade Lanterns. Students participated in decorating classrooms & common areas creating a vibrant atmosphere. Teachers explained all the students about Diwali festival. Our Primary HM, Renis Irudaya madam along with the committee members, Anant Banwasi sir, Padmaja madam & Bhawani madam distributed Gifts, sweets & snacks to all the students. All the students were joyous & excited. Teachers played selection of upbeat songs encouraging students to dance freely. All the students danced in various styles. This promoted a postive & energetic environment in the class.
Thus, the Diwali celebration provided an opportunity to learn about the cultural significance of the festival.
