Rivers are the backbone of human civilizations which provides freshwater that is the basic necessity for human life. We cannot live without water and rivers are the larger water bodies for freshwater. In fact, all civilizations in the past and present were born near the river banks. In this month we have celebrated “Important Rivers of Maharashtra” as our monthly awareness programme. All students enthusiastically participated in this programme. Programme was scheduled in the following ways:-
~Prayer song
~Slogan by 7A students (English)
~Songs by 7B students
~Qawwali song prepared by 7B students
~Slat in Hindi
~Slogan
~Charts based on importance of rivers
Students participated enthusiastically in the awareness programme.
